Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani Box Office Day 11: Karan Johar's directorial comeback, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, has created waves across the nation. The romantic comedy drama film is holding well at the box office in its second week.

Starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, the film is having a dream run at the box office, as it surpassed the prestigious 100 crore mark in India and is still doing great business. But on day 11, RARKPK witnessed its first major drop in collection.

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani on August 7, which is its 11th day and second week, saw a major drop in collections. It recorded its first lowest collection and minted only Rs 4.25 crore. With this, the film's total collection now stands at Rs. 109.33 crore.

The film registered 15.27 per cent occupancy on August 7. Meanwhile, RARKPK had reached the Rs 209.5 milestone globally.

Touted as a full-fledged family entertainer, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani impressed audiences and critics alike. It also stars veteran actors like Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.

But considering the drop in numbers, and the release of OMG 2 and Gadar 2, it looks like the film might soon end its honeymoon period. Gadar 2 and OMG 2, which are releasing on August 11, will come as a setback to Karan Johar's directorial.

On Monday, Karan Johar penned a note dedicating the film's success to his team and talked about how he felt he would collapse with anxiety and need an IV drip during the film release. Sharing a gratitude note, Johar wrote, "Prior to the release of this film, I felt that at any point of time, I would need an IV drip and was near collapse!!

"The question I asked myself was - is it the long 7 year gap? Or the anxiety built over the last 3 years. Or the fact that we live in an ambiguous box office time. Whatever the real reason is - I was a bonafide mess! But the Friday, 28th of July, I felt nothing but gratitude, validation and sheer joy. This film is truly a product of team energy & love," he added.
