Salaar Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Prabhas’ Film To Have Good Start; To Earn THIS Number | EXCL

After creating immense buzz in the town, Prabhas' much talked about movie Salaar is set to hit the theatres this week. Helmed by Prashanth Neel, the action thriller also features Prithviraj Sukumaran along with Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju in key roles and the trailer has got everyone quite excited.

Needless to say, the fans are quite eager to watch Prabhas' action avatar and are counting days for the release. This Prashanth Neel directorial appears to be a massy action drama and is among the most anticipated releases of the year. As it is just 3 days left for the release of Salaar, there are speculations about how the movie will fare on the opening day.

In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, producer and film business expert Girish Johar stated, "A little early, the screens and the showcasing is yet to be locked, having said that I am pretty confident ki down South to number kafi acha aayega. They are doing a multiple language release also. I think it should by 25 crores plus for all language combined". He also emphasised that the numbers could be more given the screen size.

Interestingly, Salaar is witnessing a box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Dunki and it is having a good hand over the Rajkumar Hirani directorial overseas in terms of advance booking. Talking about the clash, Girish Johar said, "In the India market, north and central base it will be more of Shah Rukh, Dunki down south will be a metro phenomena because it is a little urbanish family feel good message kind of a film. It will be a little higher in Chennai, Hyderabad, Vishakhapatnam and those big cities but in the interiors and the mass regions Salaar would be the much bigger choice".
