Salaar (Hindi) Box Office Collection Day 8 Prediction: Prabhas’ Film Remains Steady; Inched Close To 100Cr

Prabhas starrer Salaar has been one of the biggest releases of the year and there are no second thoughts about it. Helmed by Prashanth Neel, the action drama also features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy and Ramachandra Raju in the lead. The movie was released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada.

Salaar opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics and has been doing wonders in all languages and made a thunderous collection of Rs 90.7 crores (all languages combined). With every day, Salaar has been maintaining a strong hold at the box office and has managed to enter the coveted Rs 300 crores club overall in one week of release itself.

Interestingly, while Salaar has been minting an impressive amount in Telugu almost everyday, it has been doing wonders in the Hindi market as well. The movie started its journey in the Hindi market with a collection of Rs 15.75 crores and now after a week of release, it is all set to enter the Rs 100 crores club in Hindi. Yes! You read it right.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Salaar made a collection of Rs 7.2 crores in Hindi and the overall Hindi collection of Rs 92.5 crores. And given the trend, Salaar is expected to remain steady and make a collection of Rs 6-8 crores and is likely to cross Rs 100 crores mark.

To note, Salaar has been witnessing a box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan's much anticipated Dunki, also starring Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal, which opened to decent reviews. In fact, Dunki is likely to cross Rs 160 crores mark lately. It will be interesting to see how long Dunki will be able to survive during Salaar mania.
