Dunki vs Salaar Box Office Collection Day 5: Shah Rukh Khan or Prabhas; Here’s Who Ruled BO On Christmas 2023

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki has been one of the biggest releases of the year. Also starring Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani in the lead, the Rajkumar Hirani directorial is based on the eponymous illegal immigration technique. Interestingly, Dunki witnessed a box office clash with Prabhas' Salaar and fans have been quite curious to know about who among SRK and Prabhas have been leading at the box office.

Interestingly, Salaar, which is directed by Prashanth Neel, also featured Prithviraj Sukumaran along with Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju in key roles. Both the movies have been among the most talked about releases of the year and as per the box office report, Salaar had managed to beat Dunki on day 1 in terms of collection.

While Dunki made a collection of Rs 29.2 crores, Salaar raked in Rs 90.7 crores on the day of release. Interestingly, the SRK starrer has been doing decent business at the box office and Prabhas' action drama has managed to set the box office on fire. And while the clash has got everyone intrigued, did you know who managed to lead at the box office on Christmas 2023?

Well, according to a report published in Sacnilk, Dunki had raked in Rs 22.5 on Christmas this year. On the other hand, Salaar made a collection of Rs 46.3 crores (in all languages combined), however, it raked in Rs 15 crores in just Hindi language. It is evident that Shah Rukh continues to lead in the Hindi market while Prabhas has a stronger hold overall.

Interestingly, Salaar has been unstoppable in the international market as well and managed to cross Rs 400 crores worldwide. In fact, as per a tweet shared by Manobala Vijayabalan, Salaar will be entering the coveted Rs 500 crores worldwide today.
