Sam Bahadur Box Office Day 2 Prediction: Vicky’s Film To Struggle Amid Animal Mania; Likely To Cross 9 Cr

Vicky Kaushal's second collaboration with ace filmmaker Meghna Gulzar has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. After winning hearts with their first collaboration Raazi, the actor-director duo has now collaborated for Sam Bahadur and it has got the fans excited. Also starring Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra, Sam Bahadur has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

The movie happens to be a biographical war drama which is based on the life of India's first field marshal Sam Manekshaw and features Vicky in the titular role. Sam Bahadur has opened to rave reviews from the audience and has left everyone in awe of Vicky Kaushal's performance. However, despite good reviews, this Meghna Gulzar directorial has been struggling at the box office.

Sam Bahadur, which is witnessing a box office clash with Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal, witnessed an average start of Rs 5.5 crores at the box office while the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial made a collection of Rs 63.80 crores. And now, the movie is likely to continue to struggle on the second day as well due to Animal. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Sam Bahadur is likely to cross Rs 9 crores. In fact, the movie has made a collection of Rs 94 lakhs so far from the morning shows.

Meanwhile, talking about the clash between Sam Bahadur and Animal, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema".
