Sam Bahadur Box Office Day 1 Prediction: Vicky’s Film Gets Strong Competition From Animal; Fails To Touch 10Cr

Vicky Kaushal and Meghna Gulzar, who had collaborated for the 2018 release Raazi, are now making headlines for their recent collaboration. We are talking about Sam Bahadur which is based on the life of India's first field marshal Sam Manekshaw and also features Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in teh lead. Needless to say, Sam Bahadur has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

And while the trailer and posters have got the fans excited and waiting for the biographical war drama, the movie has been receiving decent reviews. On the other hand, there have been speculations about how Sam Bahadur will fare at the box office. According to a report published in Sacnilk, this Vicky Kaushal starrer will be witnessing a slow start at the box office and will fail to touch Rs 10 crores mark. The report suggested that Sam Bahadur will be minting Rs 6 crores on the first day.

To note, Sam Bahadur is witnessing a box office clash with Ranbir Kapoor's Animal and this Sandeep Redy Vanga directorial is roaring loud at the box office along with giving a tough competition to Vicky starrer. Talking about the clash, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema".
