Satyaprem Ki Katha Advance Booking: Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani are gearing up for their upcoming romantic family entertainer, Satyaprem Ki Katha. The film has created a massive buzz among the audience.

As fans wait with bated breath to witness Kartik and Kiara's reunion on screen, the film is touted to have a big start at the box office. Backed by Sajid Nadiadwala, the movie's songs have already won hearts.

In the absence of any major competitor and Adipurush debacle, all eyes are on Satyaprem Ki Katha. Meanwhile, the advance booking of the movie also looks encouraging, therefore, let's look at how many tickets Kartik-Kiara's romantic drama will be selling.

Satyaprem Ki Katha and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 screens comparison

Produced under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Namah Pictures, Satyaprem Ki Katha has been made on a budget of Rs 60 crore, which is less than Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which had an 80-85 crore budget. It was one of last year's successful films.

Satyaprem Ki Katha, meanwhile, also has fewer screens as compared to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. SKK is targeting around 2000 screens, while the latter was released on over 3200 screens across the country. Hence, the earrings and advance booking may suffer a bit.

As per reports, Satyaprem Ki Katha had sold more than 20,000 tickets by Tuesday, June 27, and is expected to sell over 35 to 40 thousand tickets in the national cinema chains.

This figure too is slightly lower than Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, as it sold around 40 to 50 thousand tickets a day before its theatrical release.

Satyaprem Ki Katha is said to rake in Rs 6-8 crore on its opening day. Taking about the same, producer and film business expert Girish Johar told Filmibeat: "If the film is not up to the mark, it can come crashing down. Numerous examples are there. If the film is good and appreciated by the audiences, the numbers, whatever we expect or project, can also double up."

"So, having said that, I expect the film to rake in around seven to eight crores starting on Thursday," he added.
