After collecting Rs 16.25 crore in the first two days of its release, Satyaprem Ki Katha witnessed a good jump on Saturday (July 1). Yes, you read that right! The official numbers of Saturday are finally out. As predicted, the film garnered immense popularity among audiences of all ages and families, generating positive word-of-mouth and solid upward growth.

It experienced a remarkable 45% increase and amassed a collection of Rs 10.10 crore on Saturday, taking its three day total to Rs 26.35 crore. With such impressive numbers, the film is on a path to achieve an outstanding weekend box office result.

SATYAPREM KI KATHA NEEDS TO MAINTAIN MOMENTUM

Satyaprem Ki Katha is expected to witness another good jump on Sunday (July 2) and is likely to have a good extended weekend. However, the film has to remain steady during the weekdays as well to reach a healthy total in the first week.

Now, the next big release will be Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles. The film is slated to hit the theatres on July 28. Till then, Satyaprem Ki Katha has ample time to perform at the ticket window.
