Satyaprem Ki Katha BO Collection Day 4: Kartik-Kiara’s Film Beats Vicky-Sara’s ZHZB; Witnesses Massive Growth

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani have all the reasons to grin from ear to ear these days and rightfully so. After all, their recent release Satyaprem Ki Katha has opened to a massive response from the audience and critics at the box office. This Sameer Vidhwans directorial has been witnessing an upward trend and is ruling the ticket windows.

For the uninitiated, Satyaprem Ki Katha has started with an opening day collection of Rs 9.25 crore. After a slight dip on the second day, it has went on for a winning streak on the third day. And this upward trend continues during the day 4 and this Kartik and Kiara starrer has managed to beat Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan starrer Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.

According to a report published in Times Now, Satyaprem Ki Katha has made an earning of Rs 12 crore on day 4 (Sunday) along with an impressive occupancy of 26.10%. As a result, the opening weekend collection of this musical romantic drama stands at Rs 38.35 crore. To recall, Vicky and Sara's Zara Hatke Zara Bachke had made a collection of Rs. 3.75 crore on day 4 (Monday) while the opening weekend collection of this Laxman Utekar was around Rs 22.59 crore.

Clearly, Satyparem Ki Katha is leading over Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. And while the Sameer Vidhwans directorial is made with a budget of Rs 60 crore, the movie is likely to surpass the cost of production soon. It will be interesting to see if the romantic musical drama will continue the winning streak on the first Monday.

Interestingly, Satyaprem Ki Katha marks Kartik and Kiara's second collaboration after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and certainly their second hit together. Apart from Kartik and Kiara, the movie also stars Gajraj Rao and Supriya Pathak in the lead.
