Satyaprem Ki Katha Day 2 Collection Prediction: One of the most awaited films, Satyaprem Ki Katha was released in theaters on June 29. The Sameer Vidwans directorial is headlined by Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani.

Backed by Sajid Nadiadwala and Namah Pictures, Satyaprem Ki Katha witnessed a healthy footfall on its opening day and did a decent collection. The film was released on a Thursday, taking the Eid al-Adha holiday into consideration.

Now, the day 2 prediction states that the film witnessed a slight drop in its box office numbers today as it was a working Friday.

The second day of the film's release also proved to be a decent one for Satyaprem Ki Katha, considering the working day. As per the early estimates, a report in industry insider, Sacnilk suggests that the film witnessed a natural drop in its box office earnings and is expected to mint approximately 7 crores on the second day of its release.

The report also suggests that the Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer had an overall 10.20% Hindi Occupancy on Friday.

Satyaprem Ki Katha made a promising start with a collection of 9.25 Cr. Trade expert Taran Adarsh shared the report and tweeted, "#SatyaPremKiKatha puts up a healthy score on Day 1 [holiday]... Gathered speed during the course of the day, after an ordinary start in the morning shows... Evening shows, expectedly, saw very good occupancies due to glowing WOM... Thu ₹ 9.25 cr. #India biz."

He further added, "Emerges #KartikAaryan's third biggest opening day, after #BhoolBhulaiyaa2 and #LoveAajKal. Going forward, the numbers may decline on Day 2 [Fri], since it's a working day, but Day 3 and 4 [Sat-Sun] hold the key... If its target audience - families - patronise the content, a strong weekend number cannot be ruled out. #Boxoffice."
