Satyaprem Ki Katha Day 5 BO Collection: Kartik-Kiara's Film Passes Monday Test, Soon To Hit 50 Cr Milestone

Satyaprem Ki Katha Day 5 Box Office Collection: One of the highly-anticipated films of 2023, Satyaprem Ki Katha, was assumed to be like any other common romantic drama.

But the film, which dropped in theatres on June 29, has surprised everyone with its unique storyline and sensible social message.

After Bhool Bhulaiya 2's success, Kartik and Kiara's reunion has again impressed audiences, and the film opened to decent numbers on its opening day and has passed the Monday blues by putting up good numbers.

Satyaprem Ki Katha day 5 box office collection

Helmed by Sameer Vidwans, Satyaprem Ki Katha on Monday, day 5, minted only Rs 4.25 crore, taking its overall total collection to Rs 42.8 crore. On its opening day, the film had cashed Rs 9,25 crore, followed by ₹7 crore on day 2 and ₹ 10.10 crore on day 3, as per reports.

It had an overall 11.68% Hindi occupancy on Monday. Therefore, looking at the numbers, the film is marching towards the milestone of 50 crore. Meanwhile, with no competition at the box office, it might put up more numbers during the coming weekends.

On the other hand, Satyaprem Ki Katha earned Rs 12.15 crore on Sunday, bringing its first-weekend box office numbers to Rs 38.50 crore.

On Sunday, Kiara and Kartik surprised the audience at a theatre in Mumbai during the screening of the film. Sharing a video on Instagram, Kiara wrote, "When the audience gives us a standing ovation, that's when you realise magic has been created. A moment to cherish forever. All I want to say is Thank You from the entire team of #SatyapremKiKatha."

In the video, we see the lead actors entering a theatre just after the film ended, and as soon as the viewers saw them, they welcomed them with a standing ovation for their performance in Satyaprem Ki Katha. Meanwhile, Kartik shared the same video on his social media page.
