Tejas vs 12th Fail Box Office Collection Day 3: Vikrant’s Film Makes Double Earnings Than Kangana Starrer

Tejas vs 12th Fail Box Office Collection Day 3

The Indian box office witnessed an interesting box office clash this week which has left everyone intrigued. We are talking about the clash of Kangana Ranaut starrer Tejas with Vikrant Massey's 12th Fail. Both the movies had released on October 27 and have been giving each other a tough competition.

While Tejas happens to be Bollywood's first aerial action drama and features Kangana Ranaut playing the role of an Indian Air Force officer, 12th Fail is based on the novel of the same name by Anurag Pathak and narrates the struggles of the UPSC aspirants. Interestingly, while Tejas has opened to mixed reviews, 12th Fails has been garnering immense love from the audience.

Interestingly, as Tejas got slow start at the box office, it is facing a strong competition from 12th Fail. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Tejas is likely to earn Rs 1.50 crores today (day 3/first Sunday) which will take the overall collection of this Kangana starrer to Rs 4.06 crores. On the other hand, 12th Fail, which witnessed a massive growth of 126% on the second day, saw another growth of 39% today (day 3/ first Sunday).

Reportedly, 12th Fail will be minting Rs 3.50 crores today which is double the collection of Tejas today. If the reports turned out to be true, it will take the overall collection of 12th Fail to Rs 7.12 crores.

Earlier, ace Indian cricketer Shubman Gill was also seen lauding Vikrant Massey's 12th Fail. Taking to social media, he wrote, "Very inspirational movie #12thfailmovie. Tells what india is about a Must watch for love the young people. NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS"

On the other hand, talking about Tejas, director Sarvesh Mewara got candid about the film and told the Times of India, "I always call Tejas an emotional action film. Because at the core of this aerial action is heavy emotions. There's his love angle that is also there in the film, there is a family element. You can expect 10 times the dialogues from the trailer in the movie. When I narrated the script to Kangana, she was teary eyed and whoever has heard and seen the film has said that it is an emotional entertainer. So that is what is unique about Tejas. I'm an emotional person and I look for emotions in a story and Tejas is that".
