Tejas Box Office Collection Day 4 Prediction: Kangana’s Movie FAILS Monday Test Amid Clash With 12th Fail

Kangana Ranaut starrer Tejas has been one of the biggest releases of the year and there are no second thoughts about it. Helmed by Sarvesh Mewara, Tejas has been Bollywood's first aerial action thriller and features Kangana donning the uniform for the time. Yes! Kangana was seen playing the role of Indian Air Force pilot and the trailer had got the fans quite excited.

However, despite substantial buzz among the audience, Kangana Ranaut starrer has failed to leave a mark at the box office. After a slow start at the box office, Tejas has been struggling to have a strong hold at the box office. In fact, as per the recent buzz, Kangana's Tejas has failed to pass the crucial Monday test as it will be seen struggling to mint Rs 1 crore at the box office.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Tejas will be minting Rs 54 lakhs today (day 4/ first Monday) as saw a drop of around 58% at the box office. If the reports turned out to be true, it will take the overall collection of Tejas to Rs 4.39 crores. Interestingly, Tejas has been witnessing a box office clash with Vikrant Massey's 12th Fail which seems to be giving the Kangana starrer a tough time.

After a start of Rs 1.11 crores on the opening day, this Vidhu Vinod Chopra directorial has been maintaining a strong hold at the box office. In fact, it has managed to beat Tejas on the first Monday as it made a collection of Rs 96 lakhs on day 4 which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 7.53 crores.

Earlier, ace Indian cricketer Shubman Gill was also seen lauding Vikrant Massey's 12th Fail. Taking to social media, he wrote, "Very inspirational movie #12thfailmovie. Tells what india is about a Must watch for love the young people. NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS"

On the other hand, talking about Tejas, director Sarvesh Mewara got candid about the film and told the Times of India, "I always call Tejas an emotional action film. Because at the core of this aerial action is heavy emotions. There's his love angle that is also there in the film, there is a family element. You can expect 10 times the dialogues from the trailer in the movie. When I narrated the script to Kangana, she was teary eyed and whoever has heard and seen the film has said that it is an emotional entertainer. So that is what is unique about Tejas. I'm an emotional person and I look for emotions in a story and Tejas is that".
