The Great Indian Family BO Collection: The highly anticipated Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chillar's flick, The Great Indian Family continues to grapple with underwhelming box office numbers as it enters its fourth day in theaters.

The film directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Yash Raj Films, features a stellar ensemble cast including Manushi Chhillar, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Sadiya Siddiqui, and Alka Amin. Despite the star power, the movie has struggled to attract audiences to the theaters.

As per a report in industry trade insider, Sacnilk, on its fourth day, The Great Indian Family is expected to earn Rs 0.75 Crores, which would take the film's cumulative box office collection to Rs 5.75 Crores. The report further states that the Hindi Occupancy figures for the movie today during the morning shows were at a mere 8.64%.

The Vicky Kaushal's film has faced stiff competiton from Shah Rukh Khan's latest blockbuster Jawan, which is going stromg even after 19 days of its release. The film is set to cross 570 crores at the domestic box office.

ABOUT THE GREAT INDIAN FAMILY

Bhajan Kumar, played by Vicky Kaushal, lives in Balrampur with his Hindu family, but he yearns for a simple life. He finds solace in spending time with his friends. Unexpectedly, he falls in love with a Sikh woman, portrayed by Manushi Chhillar.

However, a letter delivered to him one night reveals that Bhajan Kumar is not a Hindu, but a Muslim by birth. Upon this revelation, Bhajan feels alienated by his family's change in behavior towards him, except for his Brahmin father who has gone on a pilgrimage. In response, Bhajan decides to leave his home and convert to Islam. The story follows Bhajan's journey as he discovers his true identity.
