The Vaccine War BO Collection: After his blockbuster, The Kashmir Files, the National Award-winning director, Vivek Agnihotri, returned to the big screen with another intriguing drama, The Vaccine War. The film was released in theaters on September 28.

The film features an ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar, Sapthami Gowda, and Pallavi Joshi among others released in theaters amid massive buzz. However, the film struggled to gain momentum at the box office on the first day of its release.

The Vaccine War opened low at the box office and managed to collect only Rs 1.3 crore in net collections at the domestic ticket window. The film faced tough competition from Shah Rukh Khan's recent blockbuster, Jawan, and simultaneous releases, Fukrey 3 and Kangana Ranaut Chandramukhi 2.

As per reports, the film recorded an occupancy rate of just 10.17 percent on its opening day.

Now, as the film enters its second day in theaters, it was expected that the film will witness a substantial growth. But the prediction for day 2 does not show any significant improvement in audience footfall. As per a report in industry tracker, Sacnilk, The Vaccine War's might earn just 1.3 crore, indicating its struggle which is likely to continue. With this the two-day total of the film will stand at Rs 2.6 crore.
