Tiger 3 Advance Booking Report: Salman’s Film Crosses 12Cr In 6 Days; Gets Banned In Oman, Qatar & Kuwait

After the phenomenal success of Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, fans have been eagerly waiting for the third installment of the spy thriller franchise for years. And now the wait is over as the makers of the Tiger franchise are finally coming up with the new installment. Titled as Tiger 3, the movie will feature Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reprising their respective roles of Tiger and Zoya and the trailer has already got everyone excited.

Interestingly, this Maneesh Sharma directorial will also feature Emraan Hashmi as the lead antagonist Aatish and he will be seen locking horns with Salman for the first time. Needless to say, Tiger 3 is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Given the substantial buzz around the movie, the makers decided to open the advance booking a week before the release and it is getting a decent response.

To note, the advance booking for Tiger 3 started on November 5 and in six days, over 4 lakhs tickets have been sold for the movie with a collection of Rs 12.43 crores. It is expected that Tiger 3 is likely to get a grand opening day collection on December 12 as the movie will be releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

And while everyone is eagerly waiting for Tiger 3 release, looks like Salman and Katrina's fans in the Middle East will not be able to enjoy Tiger and Zoya's return. According to a report published in India TV News, Tiger 3 has been banned in Oman, Qatar and Kuwait. The media reports suggested that the Maneesh Sharma directorial has been banned in these countries over the portrayal of Islamic countries and characters in a negative light. While no official confirmation has been made in this regard so far, if the reports turned out to be true, it might affect the box office collection of the movie.
