Tiger 3 vs Jawan Advance Booking Report Day 1: Salman Khan FAILS To Beat Shah Rukh Khan Ahead Of Big Release

Remember when Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif turned spies and won hearts with their action thriller Ek Tha Tiger? The movie, which had released in 2012, was a massive hit and fans were in awe of Salman and Katrina's chemistry. Later, the came with the second installment of the franchise as Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and it was a massive hit among the fans.

And now after five years, the makers have returned with the third installment as Tiger 3 wherein Salman and Katrina are reprising their respective roles of Tiger and Zoya and the fans can't keep calm about it. Interestingly, Tiger 3 also features Emraan Hashmi in the role of lead antagonist. As Tiger 3 has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year, the makers have started the advance booking a week before the release of this Salman Khan starrer.

In fact, Tiger 3 is said to have witnessed a massive response from the audience with the advance booking. However, despite substantial buzz it has failed to be the advance booking of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan. It is reported that while around 83.38K tickets of Tiger 3 were sold in the first 24 hours of the advance booking, the number was around 255K for Jawan.

Meanwhile, Tiger 3 has earned over Rs 4 crores in first 24 hours of advance booking for the first day. It will be interesting to see how Tiger 3 will fare in the coming days.

Earlier, Emraan Hashmi got candid about his role in Tiger 3 and said, "I had an amazing time creating Aatish - a man who is fuelled by rage and will go to any length to finish Tiger. I play a very distinctively different villain that is rare in Hindi cinema. He is cerebral, his mind is his greatest weapon and he also wields immense power over authorities across countries to bring his devious plans into motion. He single-mindedly wants to destroy Tiger, his family and by doing that, he wants to take out the biggest super agent of India. He knows Tiger will always be the last man standing for India and he wants him removed at any cost."
