Tiger 3 Advance Booking Report Day 1: Salman Khan’s Spy Thriller Fails To Beat Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan On Day 3

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are all over the headlines these days and rightfully so. After all, they have collaborated after six years for Tiger 3 - the third installment of their Tiger franchise. Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, the movie will feature Salman and Katrina reprising their respective roles of Tiger and Zoya. Interestingly, Emraan Hashmi has also joined the franchise and plays the role of lead antagonist Aatish.

The first look poster, teaser, trailer and even the songs, everything about Tiger 3 has been grabbing the eyeballs. And while everyone has been looking forward to the release of Tiger 3 on Diwali this year, the makers had opened the advance booking of the film a week before the release.

Interestingly, Tiger 3 has opened to a decent response in advance booking so far. Now in three days of advance booking, Salman's spy thriller has minted around Rs 10 crores in three days. It is also reported that around 174.11K tickets have been sold of Tiger 3 so far. While the numbers are growing with each day, it has failed to beat Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan.

For the uninitiated, Jawan, which was one of the biggest releases of the year, had sold 617.74K tickets in three days and manged to make a collection of Rs 13.17 crores. It is evident that Salman's Tiger 3 is falling way behind Jawan. It will be interesting to see if it will pick up pace in the coming days. To note, Tiger 3 will be releasing on December 12 in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil

Earlier, Emraan Hashmi got candid about his role in Tiger 3 and said, "I had an amazing time creating Aatish - a man who is fuelled by rage and will go to any length to finish Tiger. I play a very distinctively different villain that is rare in Hindi cinema. He is cerebral, his mind is his greatest weapon and he also wields immense power over authorities across countries to bring his devious plans into motion. He single-mindedly wants to destroy Tiger, his family and by doing that, he wants to take out the biggest super agent of India. He knows Tiger will always be the last man standing for India and he wants him removed at any cost."
