Tiger 3 BO Collection Day 1: Salman Khan’s Film Sets BIGGEST Opening Day Record; Earns THIS MUCH Globally

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 has set the global box office on fire, with its opening day collection that marks career highs for both the lead actors. The action-packed film, which is the third installment of the successful Tiger franchise, raked in impressive earnings both globally and in the national chains.

According to the official statement from YRF, Tiger 3 has not only become the highest-grossing Diwali day release in the history of Hindi cinema but has also secured the title of the highest-grossing overseas opening day, including paid previews, in Indian cinema history.

The worldwide gross stands at a staggering 94 crore (11.35 million USD), with India contributing Rs 52.50 crore (44.50 crore NBOC) and the overseas market contributing 41.50 crore (5 million USD) in its earnings.

Apart from the power-packed duo of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, Tiger 3 features Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist. Tiger 3 is the latest addition to the YRF Spy Universe, following the success of War and Pathaan.

Also, Tiger 3 marks the third installment of the Tiger franchise, with the first film, Ek Tha Tiger, released in 2012 under the direction of Kabir Khan. The second film, Tiger Zinda Hai, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, hit the screens in 2017, and both proved to be box office hits.

The latest installment, Tiger 3 helmed by Maneesh Sharma continues the legacy of high-octane action and entertainment.
