Tiger 3 Box Office Day 12 Prediction: Salman’s Film Struggle Continues Ahead of Weekend; To Cross 253Cr

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's espionage thriller franchise - Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai - has been a massive hit among the fans. And now the Tiger franchise is back in the headlines as it has returned with the third installment. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 featured Salman and Katrina reprising their roles of Tiger and Zoya respectively along with Emraan Hashmi as the lead antagonist.

The action thriller drama created a substantial buzz in the town and emerged as one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Given the excitement, Tiger 3 emerged as Salman's biggest opener ever and had a decent first week at the box office. However, the Tiger 3 mania seems to have subsided during the second week and has been struggling at the box office.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Tiger 3 has failed to touch the Rs 250 crores mark in 11 days of release and minted Rs 5.75 crores on day 11 (second Wednesday). In fact, the movie's struggle at the box office continues in the second week and it failing to touch the double digit mark ahead of the second weekend. Given the trend, Tiger 3 to cross Rs 253 crores mark today (day 12/ second Thursday). So far, it has managed to rake in Rs 36 lakhs from the morning shows and the numbers are likely to grow during the day.

Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi, who shared the screen for the first time with Salman and Katrina, recently got candid about his role in Tiger 3 and said, "I had an amazing time creating Aatish - a man who is fuelled by rage and will go to any length to finish Tiger. I play a very distinctively different villain that is rare in Hindi cinema. He is cerebral, his mind is his greatest weapon and he also wields immense power over authorities across countries to bring his devious plans into motion. He single-mindedly wants to destroy Tiger, his family and by doing that, he wants to take out the biggest super agent of India. He knows Tiger will always be the last man standing for India and he wants him removed at any cost."
