Tiger 3 Box Office Day 13 Prediction: Salman’s Spy Thriller Likely To Fail To Earn 5Cr Ahead Of Weekend

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 has been one of the biggest releases of the year courtesy the stupendous success of the 2 installments of the Tiger franchise - Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai. The movie, which is helmed by Maneesh Sharma, marked Salman and Katrina's return as Tiger and Zoya and also featured Emraan Hashmi as the lead antagonist. And while Tiger 3 had released amid much of fanfare, it did witness a great start at the box office.

However, the craze for Tiger 3 was short lived as the espionage thriller started witnessing a massive drop in collections during the first week itself and ever since then it has failed to pick up pace. And now, as Tiger 3 is all set for another weekend, it is still struggling at the box office and is yet to cross Rs 260 crores mark.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Tiger 3 minted Rs 4.85 crores on day day 12 (second Thursday) and took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 254.65 crores. Given the ongoing trend, the movie is likely to fail to cross Rs 5 crore mark on day 13 (second Friday) and will struggle to touch Rs 260 crores mark. It will be interesting to see if Tiger 3 will pick up pace during the weekend.

Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi, who shared the screen for the first time with Salman and Katrina, recently got candid about his role in Tiger 3 and said, "I had an amazing time creating Aatish - a man who is fuelled by rage and will go to any length to finish Tiger. I play a very distinctively different villain that is rare in Hindi cinema. He is cerebral, his mind is his greatest weapon and he also wields immense power over authorities across countries to bring his devious plans into motion. He single-mindedly wants to destroy Tiger, his family and by doing that, he wants to take out the biggest super agent of India. He knows Tiger will always be the last man standing for India and he wants him removed at any cost."
