Tiger 3 Box Office Day 15 Prediction: Salman’s Spy Thriller Likely To Have A Slow Weekend; To Cross 270Cr

Given the stupendous success of Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, fans have been eagerly waiting for the third installment of this Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer franchise. And as expected, Tiger 3 turned out to be one of the biggest Diwali releases ever. Helmebed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 also featured Emraan Hashmi in the lead.

The espionage thriller has opened to a rave response from the audience and went on to become Salman's biggest opener ever. And while it has opened to decent response from the audience, Tiger 3 witnessed a significant fall in the first week itself and it has been going slow ever since.

And now, as Tiger 3 is getting into the third week, the Maneesh Sharma directorial is set to witness a slow weekend. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Tiger 3 has minted Rs 6.6 crores on day 14 (second Saturday) taking the overall collection to Rs 264.67 crores. The reports further suggested that it has made Rs 27 lakhs from the morning show today (day 15/third Sunday). While the number is expected to grow during the day, Tiger 3 is likely to cross Rs 270 crores during the weekend.

It is evident that Tiger is witnessing a very slow weekend and is all set to witness a strong competition from Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur and Ranbir Kapor's Animal in the coming week. It will be interesting to see if Tiger 3 will pick up pace before the two big releases and cross the Rs 300 crores mark.

Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi, who shared the screen for the first time with Salman and Katrina, recently got candid about his role in Tiger 3 and said, "I had an amazing time creating Aatish - a man who is fuelled by rage and will go to any length to finish Tiger. I play a very distinctively different villain that is rare in Hindi cinema. He is cerebral, his mind is his greatest weapon and he also wields immense power over authorities across countries to bring his devious plans into motion. He single-mindedly wants to destroy Tiger, his family and by doing that, he wants to take out the biggest super agent of India. He knows Tiger will always be the last man standing for India and he wants him removed at any cost."
