Tiger 3 Box Office Day 16 Prediction: Salman’s Spy Thriller To Witness Drop On 3rd Monday; Moves Towards 275Cr

Salman Khan had won millions of hearts when he played the role of a RAW agent in Ek Tha Tiger opposite Katrina Kaif. It was a treat to watch the duo fighting together against a common enemy. And when they returned with Tiger Zinda Hai, fans couldn't keep calm about Salman and Katrina's reunion. And now, as the duo has come together for the third installment of the espionage thriller and it has been creating substantial buzz.

Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 featured Salman and Katrina reprising their respective roles of Tiger and Zoya while Emraan Hashmi played the role of the lead antagonist. The movie opened to rave reviews from the audience and it managed become Salman's biggest opener and the biggest Diwali release ever. However, the film ended up losing its grip in the first week itself.

Tiger 3 witnessed a significant fall in the first week and has been struggling ever since. And after witnessing a slow weekend recently, Tiger 3 is likely to witness another drop in the third week. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Tiger 3 made a collection of Rs 7.06 crores on day 15 (third Sunday) which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 271.09 crores. And now, given the trend, Tiger 3 is expected to witness a drop again. It has witnessed a collection of Rs 7 lakhs so far from the morning shows and the numbers are likely to grow during the day. It will be interesting to see if Tiger 3 will pick up pace before the release of Animal and Sam Bhadur and cross the Rs 300 crores mark.

Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi, who shared the screen for the first time with Salman and Katrina, recently got candid about his role in Tiger 3 and said, "I had an amazing time creating Aatish - a man who is fuelled by rage and will go to any length to finish Tiger. I play a very distinctively different villain that is rare in Hindi cinema. He is cerebral, his mind is his greatest weapon and he also wields immense power over authorities across countries to bring his devious plans into motion. He single-mindedly wants to destroy Tiger, his family and by doing that, he wants to take out the biggest super agent of India. He knows Tiger will always be the last man standing for India and he wants him removed at any cost."
