Salman
Khan
has
all
the
reasons
to
be
on
cloud
nine
these
days
and
rightfully
so.
After
all,
his
recent
release
Tiger
3
has
been
doing
wonders
at
the
box
office.
The
movie,
which
happens
to
be
the
the
third
installment
of
the
successful
Tiger
franchise,
features
Salman
and
Katrina
Kaif
reprising
their
respective
roles
of
Tiger
and
Zoya
along
with
Emraan
Hashmi
who
plays
the
role
of
the
lead
antagonist.
Tiger
3
has
been
one
of
the
most
awaited
releases
of
the
year
and
as
it
has
released
on
Diwali
this
year,
it
has
witnessed
a
phenomenal
start
at
the
box
office
with
a
collection
of
Rs
44.5
crores.
Interestingly,
this
Maneesh
Sharma
directorial
became
the
highest
grosser
for
Salman
Khan
and
second
highest
opener
for
Katrina
after
Thugs
of
Hindostan.
And
now,
according
to
a
report
published
in
Sacnilk,
Tiger
3
has
managed
to
mind
Rs
57.52
crores
on
the
second
day
of
release
(first
Monday)
which
takes
the
overall
collection
of
the
movie
to
Rs
102.02
crores.
Interestingly,
Tiger
3
has
managed
to
beat
the
collection
of
Shah
Rukh
Khan's
Pathaan
and
Jawan
on
the
first
Monday
and
has
recorded
the
highest
first
Monday
collection
ever.
For
the
uninitiated,
Pathaan
had
minted
Rs
26.5
crores
while
Jawan
earned
Rs
32.92
crores
on
the
first
Monday
of
release.
But
this
isn't
all.
Tiger
3
has
also
recorded
the
second
highest
second
day
collection
after
Pathaan
(Rs
70.5
crores).
Meanwhile,
Emraan
Hashmi
recently
got
candid
about
his
role
in
Tiger
3
and
said,
"I
had
an
amazing
time
creating
Aatish
-
a
man
who
is
fuelled
by
rage
and
will
go
to
any
length
to
finish
Tiger.
I
play
a
very
distinctively
different
villain
that
is
rare
in
Hindi
cinema.
He
is
cerebral,
his
mind
is
his
greatest
weapon
and
he
also
wields
immense
power
over
authorities
across
countries
to
bring
his
devious
plans
into
motion.
He
single-mindedly
wants
to
destroy
Tiger,
his
family
and
by
doing
that,
he
wants
to
take
out
the
biggest
super
agent
of
India.
He
knows
Tiger
will
always
be
the
last
man
standing
for
India
and
he
wants
him
removed
at
any
cost."
