Tiger 3 Box Office Collection Day 3: Salman’s Film Smashes Jawan & Pathaan On 1st Tuesday By A Huge Gap

Salman Khan is all over the news these days and rightfully so. After all, he has returned as the much loved Tiger in the third installment of his Tiger franchise. Titled as Tiger 3, the espionage thriller also features Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in the lead and has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. And now, Tiger 3 has been roaring loud at the box office.

The action thriller became the highest opener for Salman and Emraan Hashmi and has also managed to enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club on the second day of release. As Tiger 3 has been unstoppable at the box office, it has been shattering records almost every day. And while Tiger 3 is being frequently compared to Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and Pathaan, the espionage drama has finally managed to beat the others.

Yes! You read it right. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Tiger 3 has managed to rake in Rs 42.5 crores on day 3 (first Tuesday). Interestingly, it has managed to beat Pathaan and Jawan on its first Tuesday with a huge gap. For the uninitiated, Pathaan had minted 23 crores on its first Tuesday while Jawan had earned Rs 26 crores.

Meanwhile, Tiger 3 is set to cross Rs 150 crores today on fourth day of release and is likely to witness a drop in collections today. It will be interesting to see how the Maneesh Sharma directorial will fair in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi recently got candid about his role in Tiger 3 and said, "I had an amazing time creating Aatish - a man who is fuelled by rage and will go to any length to finish Tiger. I play a very distinctively different villain that is rare in Hindi cinema. He is cerebral, his mind is his greatest weapon and he also wields immense power over authorities across countries to bring his devious plans into motion. He single-mindedly wants to destroy Tiger, his family and by doing that, he wants to take out the biggest super agent of India. He knows Tiger will always be the last man standing for India and he wants him removed at any cost."
