Tiger 3 Box Office Collection Day 3: Salman’s Film Beats Shah Rukh’s Pathaan As It Inches Towards 150Cr

The year 2023 didn't start on a favourable note for Salman Khan. After all, his first film of the year Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan failed to leave a mark on the audience. However, his recent release, Tiger 3 has turned out to be a real treat for the fans. Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 also features Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in the lead.

The third installment of the Tiger franchise has opened to rave reviews from the audience and the critics. As Tiger 3 has created substantial buzz around it, the espionage thriller has witnessed a phenomenal response since the first day. Tiger 3 opened with a collection of Rs 44.5 crores and became the highest opener for Salman Khan.

This isn't all. It managed to cross Rs 100 crore mark on the second day and became the third fastest Hindi film to enter the coveted club. And now, as per the recent update, Tiger 3 has witnessed a 27% drop in collection on day 4 (first Tuesday). According to a report published in Sacnilk, Tiger 3 minted Rs 42.50 crores which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 146 crores. Interestingly it has managed to beat Pathaan on the third day of release. To note, Pathaan had minted Rs 39.25 crores on its third day of release.

Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi recently got candid about his role in Tiger 3 and said, "I had an amazing time creating Aatish - a man who is fuelled by rage and will go to any length to finish Tiger. I play a very distinctively different villain that is rare in Hindi cinema. He is cerebral, his mind is his greatest weapon and he also wields immense power over authorities across countries to bring his devious plans into motion. He single-mindedly wants to destroy Tiger, his family and by doing that, he wants to take out the biggest super agent of India. He knows Tiger will always be the last man standing for India and he wants him removed at any cost."
