Tiger 3 Box Office Collection Day 4: Salman’s Film Sees Its Lowest Collection During India vs NZ Semi-Finals

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 has been one of the biggest releases of the year. The Maneesh Sharma directorial happens to be the third installment of the successful Tiger franchise and also features Emraan Hashmi in the lead. The espionage thriller has created a substantial buzz around them and opened to rave reviews from the audience with a stupendous performance at the box office.

Interestingly, Tiger 3 became the highest opener for Salman Khan and went on to enter the Rs 100 crores club within just two days of release. In fact, the movie has been roaring loud and has been maintaining a stronghold at the box office. However, the fourth day witnessed a massive drop in collections for Tiger 3.

Yes! According to a report published in Sacnilk, Tiger 3 witnessed around 53% drop in collections on day 4 courtesy of the India vs New Zealand World Cup Semi-finals. It is reported that Tiger 3 witnessed a collection of Rs 20.54 crores which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 168.04. To note, it happens to be Tiger 3's lowest collection ever and the movie has failed to beat Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan and Jawan on the day 4 with a huge gap. For the uninitiated, Pathan had earned Rs 53.25 crores on day 4 while Jawan minted Rs 80.1 crores.

Meanwhile, Tiger 3 has crossed the Rs 250 crores mark in three days and is now inching towards the next milestone of Rs 300 crores mark. As per a tweet shared by trade analyst Manobala Vijabalan, Tiger 3 minted Rs 67.34 crores worldwide on the third day which takes the overall collection of the film to Rs 250.73 crores. Given Tiger 3's strong hold at the box office, the espionage thriller is likely to cross Rs 300 crores at the worldwide box office soon.
