Tiger 3 Box Office Day 7: Salman’s Spy Thriller Crosses 217Cr In Week 1; Will It Reach 300Cr In Week 2?

It's been a week since Maneesh Sharma's directorial Tiger 3 hit the theatres and made it an eventful Diwali for Salman Khan's fans across the world. The movie featured Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead as they reprised their role of Tiger and Zoya respectively. Interestingly, Tiger 3 also starred Emraan Hashmi as the lead antagonist and fans have been quite keen to watch his face off with Salman.

Tiger 3 witnessed an impressive start at the box office and emerged as Salman and Emraan's highest opener ever. And while it has been maintaining a decent grip at the ticket windows, the first week of Tiger 3 was quite successful at the box office with the espionage thriller creating several records.

And now, that Tiger 3 has completed a week at the box office, it made a collection of Rs 17 crores on day 7 (first Saturday) which took the overall collection of the film to Rs 217.90 crores in a week. To note, Tiger 3 has minted the eighth highest week 1 collection after Pathaan, Jawan, Gadar 2, KGF Chapter 2, Baahubali 2, Sultan and War.

Meanwhile, Tiger 3 has witnessed a drop in collections owing to the World Cup 2023 semi finals and it is likely to witness another drop due to India vs Australia World Cup 2023 finals. It will be interesting to see if Tiger 3 will manage to cross Rs 300 crores mark in the week 2 of release

On the other hand, Emraan Hashmi, who shared the screen for the first time with Salman and Katrina, recently got candid about his role in Tiger 3 and said, "I had an amazing time creating Aatish - a man who is fuelled by rage and will go to any length to finish Tiger. I play a very distinctively different villain that is rare in Hindi cinema. He is cerebral, his mind is his greatest weapon and he also wields immense power over authorities across countries to bring his devious plans into motion. He single-mindedly wants to destroy Tiger, his family and by doing that, he wants to take out the biggest super agent of India. He knows Tiger will always be the last man standing for India and he wants him removed at any cost."
