Tiger 3 Box Office Collection Day 8 Prediction: Will Salman’s Film See A Drop Due To World Cup 2023 Final?

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have been all over the headlines these days courtesy of their recent release of Tiger 3. The movie has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. After all the first two installments of the Tiger 3 franchise (Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai) have been massive hits. And standing up to the expectations, Tiger 3 opened to rave reviews from the audience.

In fact, the espionage thriller, which also featured Emraan Hashmi as the lead antagonist, witnessed an impressive start at the box office with an opening day collection of Rs 44.5 crores. And while it witnessed growth in the initial days, Tiger 3 dropped massively during the India vs New Zealand World Cup Finals and has been dropping ever since.

However, things did change during the first weekend wherein Tiger 3 witnessed a slight growth after crossing the Rs 200 crore mark. In fact, Tiger 3 went on to make Rs 17.58 crores with a total collection of Rs 217.90 crores. And while Tiger 3 is venturing in the second week, it is likely to witness a drop again today (day 8/second Sunday) with the India vs Australia World Cup 2023 final taking place today.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Tiger 3 has made a collection of Rs 1.24 crores so far from the early morning shows. It will be interesting to see how the collections grow during the day amid the big World Cup 2023 match and will it cross Rs 250 crores mark today.

Meanwhile, Tiger 3 has managed to cross Rs 334.61 crores in six days at the worldwide box office and it is reported that it had crossed Rs 350 crores in a week.

Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi, who shared the screen for the first time with Salman and Katrina, recently got candid about his role in Tiger 3 and said, "I had an amazing time creating Aatish - a man who is fuelled by rage and will go to any length to finish Tiger. I play a very distinctively different villain that is rare in Hindi cinema. He is cerebral, his mind is his greatest weapon and he also wields immense power over authorities across countries to bring his devious plans into motion. He single-mindedly wants to destroy Tiger, his family and by doing that, he wants to take out the biggest super agent of India. He knows Tiger will always be the last man standing for India and he wants him removed at any cost."
