Tiger 3 Box Office Collection Day 1: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's much-anticipated film, Tiger 3, directed by Maneesh Sharma, had a stellar opening on Diwali, November 12. As per reports, the spy-thriller raked in an impressive Rs 44.5 crore on its first day in India.

While the film witnessed a promising start, Salman Khan's action-packed Tiger 3 is engaged in a fierce battle for advance bookings. According to industry trade insiders, the film is currently trailing behind Pathaan, Jawan, Adipurush, and Gadar 2. A report in Sacnilk suggests that Tiger 3 currently holds the third spot in the list of second-day advance bookings for 2023 releases.

In the race for second-day advance bookings, Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan leads with ₹32.10 crore, followed by Jawan with Rs 21.62 crore. Tiger 3 currently secures the third position on the list with Rs 17.48 crore from its advance booking for the second day. Adipurush holds the fourth place at Rs 16.89 Cr and Gadar 2 holds the fifth spot with Rs 16.80 Cr.

Meanwhile, Tiger 3 marks a significant milestone for Salman Khan. The film has become his biggest opener to date, surpassing the records set by Ali Abbas Zafar's 'Bharat in 2019 (Rs 42.30 crore) and Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in 2015 (Rs 40.35 crore), both of which were also Diwali releases.

Similarly for Katrina, Tiger 3 is her third biggest opener after Vijay Krishna Acharya's Thugs of Hindostan in 2018 ( Rs 52.25 crore), and Bharat with Salman.

Tiger 3 is the third installment of the Tiger franchise and part of the YRF Spy Universe alongside War and Pathaan. Along with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead, the film also features Emraan Hashmi as the main antagonist. The film further has cameo appearances by Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan as Kabir from his upcoming film, War.
