Tiger 3 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 8: Salman’s Film Moves Towards 380Cr; Trails Behind Jawan, Pathaan

After a disappointing start to 2023 with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Salman Khan has been making headlines lately for his release Tiger 4. Directed by Maneesh Sharma and also starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, the espionage thriller is the third installment of the Tiger franchise after Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai and it has opened to rave response from the audience and critics.

Not just in India, Tiger 3 has been creating ripples at the worldwide box office as well. While the Maneesh Sharma directorial became the highest opener for Salman with a collection of Rs 44.5 crores, it went on to rake in Rs 95.23 crores worldwide. Interestingly, Tiger 3 managed to cross Rs 100 crores worldwide in 2 days.

And now, as per a recent update, this Salman starrer has managed to cross Rs 350 crores worldwide within a week of release. As per a tweet shared by trade analyst Manobala Vijaybalan, Tiger 3 went on to earn Rs 32.14 crores on day 7 which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 366.75 crores. Given its grown, Tiger 3 is likely to inch close to Rs 380 crores worldwide on the eighth day of release.

To note, the espionage thriller, which has been facing a strong competition with Jawan and Pathaan, has been trailing far behind Shah Rukh Khan's biggest releases of 2023. For the uninitiated, Jawan and Pathaan had reportedly minted over 600 crores worldwide in the first week

Meanwhile, Tiger 3 is inching towards Rs 250 crores in India. However, it might witness a drop again today (day 8/second Sunday) with the India vs Australia World Cup 2023 final taking place today.

On the other hand, Emraan Hashmi, who shared the screen for the first time with Salman and Katrina, recently got candid about his role in Tiger 3 and said, "I had an amazing time creating Aatish - a man who is fuelled by rage and will go to any length to finish Tiger. I play a very distinctively different villain that is rare in Hindi cinema. He is cerebral, his mind is his greatest weapon and he also wields immense power over authorities across countries to bring his devious plans into motion. He single-mindedly wants to destroy Tiger, his family and by doing that, he wants to take out the biggest super agent of India. He knows Tiger will always be the last man standing for India and he wants him removed at any cost."
