Tiger 3 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 9: Salman’s Film To Cross 400Cr Post Massive Dip During IND vs AUS

Salman Khan made Diwali 2023 quite happening for his fans around the world and there are no second thoughts about it. This happened with the release of his recent espionage thriller Tiger 3. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 also features Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in the lead and has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. In fact, given the success of Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, fans have been excited to watch the return of the original spy.

Tiger 3 had opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics and it had been doing wonders at the box office in India and abroad. While it emerged as the highest opener for Salman Khan, Tiger 3 also managed to cross Rs 100 crores mark worldwide in just two days. And while it witnessed a stronghold at the worldwide box office, the espionage thriller saw a massive jolt owing to the India vs Australia World Cup 2023 finals.

According to a tweet shared by trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, Tiger 3, which had earned Rs 32.14 crores worldwide on day 7, saw over 32% drop in collections on day 8 of release and minted Rs 19.68 crores worldwide and took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 386.43 crores. Given the hold and the positive reviews of Tiger 3, this Maneesh Sharma directorial is expected to cross 400 crores mark today (day9/second monday) worldwide.

Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi, who shared the screen for the first time with Salman and Katrina, recently got candid about his role in Tiger 3 and said, "I had an amazing time creating Aatish - a man who is fuelled by rage and will go to any length to finish Tiger. I play a very distinctively different villain that is rare in Hindi cinema. He is cerebral, his mind is his greatest weapon and he also wields immense power over authorities across countries to bring his devious plans into motion. He single-mindedly wants to destroy Tiger, his family and by doing that, he wants to take out the biggest super agent of India. He knows Tiger will always be the last man standing for India and he wants him removed at any cost."
