"#TuJhoothiMainMakkaar is up at national chains, but down in mass circuits on Day 3... #Mumbai - #Maharashtra as well as mass pockets need to come on board on Sat - Sun for a strong weekend total... Wed 15.73 cr, Thu 10.34 cr, Fri 10.52 cr. Total: ₹ 36.59 cr. #India biz. #TJMM," Taran wrote on the micro-blogging site.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar Makers To Face Rs 50-crore LOSS
Self-proclaimed critic and trade expert KRK set several tongues wagging when he shared a tweet, stating that TJWMM will suffer a loss of Rs 50 crore. His tweet went viral in the internet in no time. He wrote, "Producer #LuvRanjan will have a loss of Rs.50Cr, while he has already looted @NetflixIndia
and @SonyTV by giving them digital rights with very high price. Means #Luv doesn't have any choice except doing next film of Bhushan Kumar, who financed blockduster #TuJhoothiMainMakaar!"
KRK continued to slam the film on his official Twitter handle, leaving the fans surprised. In another tweet, he asked the fans to not believe the 'PR fabricated articles about box office'.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, which also stars Dimple Kapadia, Boney Kapoor and Bassi, has been directed by Luv Ranjan. Nushrat Bharucha and Kartik Aaryan were seen in special appearances in the film. It remains to be seen if the film is able to perform well on Saturday and Sunday or not.
