Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar Box Office Collection Day 6: Luv Ranjan's rom-com, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, has made everyone fall in love with its songs and good narration. Bollywood has not produced a romantic comedy of this type in a while, and going by the reception of the film, it seems to have been well received by the audience and is also doing well at the ticket windows. The film has maintained a good grip during the weekends and opened to a decent number of Rs 15 crore on its first day, March 8, which was a Holi holiday.

Ranbir and Shraddha's fresh pairing and good on-screen chemistry have done an impressive job for the movie, as people are going crazy over the duo's pairing. It collected Rs 17.08 crore on Sunday, day 5. It is the highest single-day grosser for the film. TJMM is said to perform quite poorly in the mass markets as compared to the national chains. While it will have to be seen how the numbers come out on Monday as it is a working day.
Here's what Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "#TuJhoothiMainMakkaar packs a solid number in its extended weekend... Biz on Sat and Sun gave the film that extra push... Weekdays crucial, all eyes on Mon... Wed 15.73 cr, Thu 10.34 cr, Fri 10.52 cr, Sat 16.57 cr, Sun 17.08 cr. Total: ₹ 70.24 cr. #India biz. #TJMM."
TJMM has by far made roughly Rs 70 crore plus, and that looks good as it will take the film closer to the coveted 100 core club.

Meanwhile, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, as per a report by Sacnikl, may earn around Rs 6.50 crore net in India on its sixth day, which will bring its total collection to Rs 77.23 crore, worldwide.
Talking about making a return to the screen after a break, Shraddha Kapoor said in an interview with Zoom, "It wasn't an intentional thing that no film released for 3 years, it just happened because of COVID. My film was only in theatres (Baaghi 3) and Corona decided to show up and be like, okay it is time to shut theatres but that was also a very tough time for everybody, be it in whatever way."
