Zwigato Box Office Collection Day 5: Kapil Sharma's Film Fails Monday Test, To Make This MUCH On Day 5
Kapil Sharma's slice-of-life drama barely made a crore on Monday and sees no prominent growth in its box office business.
Zwigato Box Office Collection Day 5: Kapil Sharma and Shahana Goswami starrer Zwigato was released in theaters on March 17. Though Kapil's performance has been praised by audiences and critics alike, the film has been performing poorly at the box office. Nandita Das' directorial opened to low numbers and didn't see much growth during the weekend. While its performance remained underwhelming on Monday. The film narrates the story of a food delivery agent who struggles to survive in a world of rising commodities prices and showcases their hardships.

Despite the good reviews, they have not been able to help the movie get some numbers at the box office. On its day 4, Zwigato only earned Rs 0.25 crore. With this, the movie's total collection now stands at Rs. 2.09 crore. Zwigato had around 5.28 percent Hindi occupancy on Monday. The film earned 0.43 million on its first day, 0.62 million on day two, and 0.79 million on day three.

Meanwhile, as per a report by trade website dailymovieupdates, Zwigato is expected to earn 0.50 crore on its day 5, bringing its total collection to 2.84 crore. The film has grossed $1.25 million worldwide.
The film's director, Nandita Das, took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the response her movie is getting. Sharing a picture of herself, she wrote, "This weekend was quite a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Zwigato released last Friday and the outpouring of personal messages and social media feedback has not stopped since. But it's not been about just 'liking' the film. It has made people reflect and pricked their conscience to do something about what we tend to ignore." Take a look here.
