Animal Box Office Day 38: Ranbir’s Film To Cross 550Cr Today After Seeing 70% Growth During 6th Weekend

Ranbir Kapoor's first collaboration with filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga Animal has been one of the biggest releases of 2023 and there are no second thoughts about it. The movie was touted to be a gory action drama and came with an impressive ensemble of cast including Ranbir, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri in the lead. As Animal was released amid immense buzz, it managed to set the box office on fire.

Animal has managed to register several records to its name - be it recording the second highest opening of 2023 after Jawan, to becoming Ranbir's highest opener, his highest grossing movie, second highest grosser of 2023 and more. Animal has managed to experience a phenomenal run at the box office and the entire team can't keep calm about it.

And now, Animal is making the headlines as it has managed to achieve a new milestone. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Animal witnessed a 70% growth yesterday (day 37/ sixth Saturday) and minted Rs 85 lakhs which took the overall collection to Rs 548.6 crores. Given the trend, Animal is likely to mint Rs 70-80 lakhs today (day 38/ sixth Sunday) and is expected to cross Rs 550 crore mark at the box office.

Interestingly, the Animal had even organised a grand party to celebrate the thunderous success of this Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial and it was attended by Ranbir, Alia, Mahesh Bhatt, Triptii Dimri, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, etc. Meanwhile, talking about Animal's box office success, Sandeep Reddy Vanga told IndiaToday.in, "I was expecting the film to do well, I knew it would do 600 crores to 700 crores but wasn't expecting these huge numbers. It has already crossed the 800 crores mark, which was a surprise for me and I am very happy with the collection. Even with the reviews, the film has done great numbers at the box office and as a filmmaker, I am happy."
