Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction: After giving hits like Drishyam, Bholaa, Drishyam 2 and more, Ajay Devgn and Tabu have collaborated for the 10th time for Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and the audience can't keep calm about it. The romantic thriller has been helmed by Neeraj Pandey and also features Jimmy Shergill, Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar in the key roles. Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has been one of the most awaited releases of the year and but seems to have failed to set the box office on fire since the first day itself

For the uninitiated, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha narrates the story of a couple's love story of over two decades delving into the emotional depth and evolving dynamics of their relationship. Though the music and performances of the film did leave a mark on the audience, the plot seems to have failed to bind the audience. In fact, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha saw a slow start at the box office with an opening day collection of Rs 1.85 crores. According to a report published in Sacnilk, this Neeraj Pandey directorial saw a slight growth of Rs 2.15 crores on day 2 (first Saturday) which took the overall collections of the film to Rs 4 crores.

Given the ongoing trend, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is likely to see another hike in numbers today (day 3/ first Sunday) and mint Rs 2-3 crores eventually crossing Rs 5 crores. Interestingly, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has been witnessing a box office clash with Janhvi Kapoor and Gulshan Devaiah starrer Ulajh. It will be interesting to see Auron Mein Kahan Dum will manage have an upper hand over Janhvi starrer.

Meanwhile, talking about the lead pair, director Neeraj Pandey told News18, "Two years back, when we were figuring out our next theatrical release, the germ of this film came to me. It was there in some form in my head before that but I didn't actually sit down and write about it till two years ago. And Ajay and Tabu were my first choices. Having said that, I don't know if it's their friendship that translated onscreen because I know nothing about its background"
