Baby John Advance Booking Collection Day 1 Prediction

Baby John Advance Booking Collection Day 1 Prediction: Varun Dhawan is all set to make Christmas 2024 a memorable one for his massive fan following. After all, he is coming up with his much talked about release of the year. We are talking about Baby John which is helmed by Kalees and is jointly produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Murad Khetani, Atlee and Priya Atlee. Also starring Wamiqa Gabbi, Zara Zyanna and Jackie Shroff, Baby John marks the big Bollywood debut of Keerthy Suresh who plays the female lead in the film.

For the uninitiated, Baby John happens to be the remake of Atlee's 2016 release Theri which was a blockbuster hit. The action thriller features Varun Dhawan playing the role of a cop for the second time after Dishoom. On the other hand, Keerthy plays the role of Varun's wife while Jackie Shroff is seen as the lead antagonist. While the trailer of Baby John has managed to grab a lot of eyeballs, the makers had lately started the advance booking of the movie 3 days ahead of the release.

Baby John Advance Booking Collection Day 1 Prediction

Interestingly, Baby John received a slow response in terms of advance booking. The movie failed to touch Rs 1 crores in the first 24 hours of advance booking. In fact, in an exclusive conversation, film business expert Rohit Jaiswal stated that Baby John is expected to mint Rs 4-4.5 crores only as collection from advance booking for day 1.

Baby John Fails To Beat Jugjugg Jeeyo

If the reports turned out to be true, Baby John will fail to beat Varun's 2022 release Jugjugg Jeeyo. For the uninitiated, Jugjugg Jeeyo had minted Rs 5.39 crores from advance booking and is touted to be the highest one for Varun.

Meanwhile, Varun, in an interview with India Today, spoke about taking inspiration from Theri and stated. "When Atlee came with this film, there was a reason behind it, and he said that we had to change a lot of the geography of the film. We have to use it as an adaptation and not really a proper remake, and I think that's what's done. Like you see, a lot of the frames and a lot of the story angles are different. So, if someone comes in expecting a book-by-book remake, they will be disappointed because that's not what the film is. It's an adaptation. We're not running away from that, but it's more of an adaptation"
