Bad Newz Box Office Collection Day 10 Prediction: Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri have been all over the headlines these days and rightfully so. After all, their first collaboration has managed to win millions of hearts. We are talking about Anand Tiwari's Bad Newz which also features Ammy Virk and Neha Dhupia in the lead. The movie happens to be a comedy drama which is the spiritual sequel to Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani's Good Newz.

Interestingly, Bad Newz revolves around heteropaternal superfecundation, a reproductive process in which twins are born to the same mother, but from different biological fathers. From the intriguing concept to Vicky & Tripii's sizzling chemistry and the foot-tapping numbers, everything about Bad Newz has managed to create a massive buzz in the town. As Bad Newz opened to decent reviews, it saw a good opening at the box office with an opening day collection of Rs 8.3 crores.

While Bad Newz saw a hike during the opening weekend, it saw a massive drop in collections on the first Monday. Interestingly, this Vicky Kaushal starrer maintained a steady hold at the box office and minted Rs 42.85 crores during the first week. Interestingly, the second weekend came as a relief for Bad Newz as it saw an impressive hike of over 50% in the collections and it set to cross a milestone at the box office.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Bad Newz minted Rs 2.15 crores on day 8 (second Friday) followed by a collection of Rs 3.25 crores on day 9 (second Saturday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 48.25 crores. Given the ongoing trend, Bad Newz is likely to see another hike in numbers and will mint around 4 crores today (day 10/ second Sunday) eventually crossing Rs 50 crores mark at the box office. It will be interesting to see how Bad Newz will fare at the box office during the second week.

Meanwhile, Vicky got candid about trying comedy genre for the first time with Bad Newz and told Money Control, "For any actor, there is this urge to do as many different kinds of roles as possible. Luckily, I got to work in many different genres and was offered diverse roles. I have worked with many different directors, and my personal favorite genre is drama and action. While doing comedy, you get a lot of confidence because you have cracked it. There are many legendary actors like Govinda, Akshay sir, Kishore Kumar ji, and even Diljit (Dosanjh) Paaji. They have been absolutely fantastic at the comedy, and we have also tried our hands at it. So, it is a fun film that you can watch with your family while eating popcorn"
