Bad Newz Box Office Collection Day 2: Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk starrer 'Bad Newz' is one of the highly-anticipated releases of this year. Directed by Anand Tiwari and produced by Karan Johar-led Dharma Productions, the comedy-drama has generated quite a lot of buzz around the film. Starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk in the lead, 'Bad Newz' had a rocking start at the box office. According to a report published by Sacnilk, the comedy-drama collected whopping Rs 8.3 crores on Friday, making it the highest opener of Vicky Kaushal after beating Uri: The Surgical Strike which raked in Rs 8.20 crores on the day of release.

As per the latest Sacnilk report, 'Bad Newz' witnessed a low growth on day 2. As the reports suggests, Vicky's film raked in Rs 9.75 cr (early estimates) on its first Saturday, taking the total collection to Rs 18.05 crores (rough data) in two days. Interestingly, the film has managed to beat the second day collection of 'Sam Bahadur'. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, 'Sam Bahadur' - Vicky's last release before 'Bad Newz' - had earned Rs 9 cr on its 2nd day.

Reportedly, Bad Newz had an overall 26.81% Hindi Occupancy on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
