Bad Newz Box Office Collection: Last week's releases, Sarfira and Hindustani 2 have failed to make a mark at the box office, and Kalki 2898 AD was audiences first choice. Now, this week, a new film titled Bad Newz is slated to hit the big screens. The movie stars Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, and it is all set to release on 19th July 2024. The trailer and the songs of the film have grabbed everyone's attention.

Filmibeat spoke to producer and film business expert, Girish Johar, about Bad Newz. When asked him how has been the pre-release buzz about the movie, Johar said, "I am quite positive about the film as the buzz is quite good. The music of the film is good, and Tauba Tauba is already a chartbuster. The awareness level about the film is good, so I am hopeful that it will take a good opening at the box office.

When asked if the stardom of Vicky and Triptii will help the film, he said, "Stars are important, but more than that the concept relevancy is important. Looking at Bad Newz, it looks like the story has good relevance."

Talking about the opening number, Johar said, "It is too early to speak about the numbers, but I am hopeful that the film will get a good opening because of the buzz."

Vicky's last release Sam Bahadur was a hit at the box office, and Triptii was seen in the blockbuster like Animal. So, of course, the expectations from Bad Newz are quite high. The movie also stars Ammy Virk, who is a popular name in the Punjabi film industry, so one can expect the movie to take a good start in the North.
