Bad Newz Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction: After winning hearts with the much successful Animal opposite Ranbir Kapoor, Triptii Dimri is back with her recent release and the audience is over the moon. We are talking about Bad Newz wherein she was seen romancing Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk. Helmed by Anand Tiwari, the movie happens to be a comedy drama which was not only one of the most anticipated releases of the year but also opened to decent reviews from the audience.

To note, Bad Newz marks Vicky's first collaboration with Triptii and Ammy and his chemistry with both the co-stars has been on point. Interestingly, Bad Newz comes with a new concept of heteropaternal superfecundation, a reproductive process in which twin children are born to the same mother, but from different biological fathers. As Bad Newz opened to decent reviews, it saw a good start at the box office.

Given the trend, this Anand Tiwari directorial is likely to see a good hike on the second day and will rake in a double digit collection on the first Saturday taking the overall collection to Rs 20 crores. With Bad Newz having a clear field for two weeks, it will be interesting to see how the movie will fare at the box office in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Vicky got candid about trying comedy genre for the first time with Bad Newz and told Money Control, "For any actor, there is this urge to do as many different kinds of roles as possible. Luckily, I got to work in many different genres and was offered diverse roles. I have worked with many different directors, and my personal favorite genre is drama and action. While doing comedy, you get a lot of confidence because you have cracked it. There are many legendary actors like Govinda, Akshay sir, Kishore Kumar ji, and even Diljit (Dosanjh) Paaji. They have been absolutely fantastic at the comedy, and we have also tried our hands at it. So, it is a fun film that you can watch with your family while eating popcorn"
