Bad Newz Box Office Collection Day 4 Prediction: Vicky Kaushal is all over the headlines for his first release of the year which has got the audience excited. We are talking about Bad Newz which is helmed by Anand Tiwari and also features Triptii Dimri, Ammy Virk and Neha Dhupia in the lead. The movie has managed to grab a lot of eyeballs with Vicky and Triptii's sizzling chemistry and the foot tapping numbers making Bad Newz as one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

As Bad Newz was released amid a lot of buzz, it opened to a mixed review and a decent start at the box office. To note, Bad Newz, which marked Vicky's first collaboration with Triptii, raked in an opening day collection of Rs 8.3 crores. Interestingly, Bad Newz turned out to be Vicky's highest opener so far after beating Uri: The Surgical Strike. Interestingly, Bad Newz managed to see a slight hike in the numbers during the opening weekend.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Bad Newz raked in Rs 10.25 crores on day 2 (first Saturday) followed by a collection of Rs 11 crores on day 3 (first Sunday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 29.55 crores mark as per the early estimates. Given the ongoing trend, Bigg Boss OTT 3 will be seeing a massive drop in collections today (day 4/ first Monday) and will record its lowest single day collection as it will cross Rs 30 crores mark at the box office. The movie is likely to mint Rs 4-5 crores today.

Meanwhile, Vicky got candid about trying comedy genre for the first time with Bad Newz and told Money Control, "For any actor, there is this urge to do as many different kinds of roles as possible. Luckily, I got to work in many different genres and was offered diverse roles. I have worked with many different directors, and my personal favorite genre is drama and action. While doing comedy, you get a lot of confidence because you have cracked it. There are many legendary actors like Govinda, Akshay sir, Kishore Kumar ji, and even Diljit (Dosanjh) Paaji. They have been absolutely fantastic at the comedy, and we have also tried our hands at it. So, it is a fun film that you can watch with your family while eating popcorn"
