Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Vs Maidaan Box Office Collection Day 3 Akshay Kumar Vs Ajay Film Box Office Comparison Day 4 Maidaan Vs Bade Miyan Chote Miyan

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Vs Maidaan Box Office Collection Day 3: Ajay Devgn and Akshay locked horns at the box office on the occasion of Eid 2024. Two big films released on Thursday (April 11), marking another box office clash between two Bollywood superstars. Last year, Gadar 2 & OMG 2 and Animal & Sam Bahadur clashed at the ticket windows. Interestingly, all the movies were able to strike a chord with the audience.

MAIDAAN FAILS TO BEAT BADE MIYAN CHOTE MIYAN

Despite releasing on a major public holiday, both Maidaan and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan failed to set the cash registers jingling. BMCM opened better as compared to Maidaan at the box office. Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's film minted over Rs 16 crore on the first day.

Taran Adarsh shared the day one box office collection of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan on social media. He tweeted, "Despite timing its release on the big holiday [#Eid], #BadeMiyanChoteMiyan doesn't live up to the mammoth expectations on Day 1... The big total - expected on a national holiday - is clearly missing... Thu ₹ 16.07 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice #BMCM. With a dream cast + lavish making + holiday factor + aggressive promotions + terrific track record of its director, #BMCM should've opened anywhere between ₹ 25 cr and ₹ 30 cr [even higher] on Day 1... The numbers, frankly, are way below expectations, since the costs are extremely high."

Adarsh had mentioned that it would be crucial for the film to post big numbers for a strong first weekend collection. He added, "Going forward, it's very, very important for #BMCM to score big numbers from Fri to Sun for a respectable 4-day *extended* weekend total... It's a wait and watch situation right now."

Ajay Devgn's Maidaan also couldn't create ripples in the cinema halls as it collected just over Rs 7 crore on first day. The figures include the paid reviews on Wednesday (April 10).

"Inspite of the big holiday [#Eid], #Maidaan opens to shockingly low numbers... Biz at urban centres in particular should've multiplied post-noon onwards, but, despite merits and appreciation, the Day 1 biz is dismal, way below the mark... Wed previews + Thu ₹ 7.25 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice," Adarsh wrote on the micro-blogging site.

BADE MIYAN CHOTE MIYAN VS MAIDAAN DAY 3 BOX OFFICE COLLECTION

Wondering who won the box office battle between Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar on day 3? Find out right here!

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan performed better than Maidaan despite the latter getting a positive word-of-mouth publicity. BMCM has received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics. A few reviewers have panned the action thriller and the performance of the lead artists.

According to Sacnilk, the early estimates signify that Maidaan earned over Rs 5.5 crore on the third day. Bade Miyan minted over Rs 8.5 crore on Saturday (April 13), as per the early estimates mentioned on the website.

Despite increasing its footfalls on Saturday, Maidaan failed to beat BMCM in the numbers. Will the two films cross the Rs 100-crore mark at the box office? Only time will tell.
