Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Box Office Collection Day 2: Kartik Aaryan's fans got a perfect Diwali surprise this year as the handsome hunk came with his much talked about horror comedy. We are talking about Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which is helmed by Anees Bazmee and is the third installment of the franchise. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year and boasts a stellar cast of Kartik, Triptii Dimri, Vijay Raaz, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Ashwini Kalsekar, Sanjay Mishra etc.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has presented a new pair of Kartik and Triptii and their chemistry has been winning millions of hearts. Interestingly, while Kartik is seen reprising his role of Rooh Baba from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also marks Vidya Balan's return to franchise after 17 years as she gets into the shoes of Manjulika again. As Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has hit the screens amid massive fanbuzz, it opened to decent reviews from the audience and critics. In fact, the movie managed to become Kartik's highest opener at the box office as well.

After raking in Rs 35.5 crores on the opening day at the box office, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 saw a steady growth on the second day of release with a slight hike. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 minted Rs 36.50 crores on day 2 (first Saturday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 72 crores.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Fails To Beat Stree 2

While Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is being constantly compared to Stree 2 which had released in August this year, Kartik starrer seems to be finding it difficult to beat Rajkummar Rao's horror comedy. While Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 minted Rs 36.5 crores on first Saturday, it has failed to beat Stree 2. For the uninitiated, Stree 2 had raked in Rs 43.85 crores on its first Saturday.

Meanwhile, Anees Bazmee is overwhelmed with the audience's response to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and told ETimes, "It is the best birthday gift I could ever get. I am truly humbled by the audience's love".
