Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film has been the third installment of the horror comedy franchise. To note, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 made an opening day collection of Rs 35.5 crores which was followed by a slight hike of Rs 37 crores on day 2 (first Saturday). However, the horror comedy saw a surprising dip in numbers on day 3 (first Sunday) and mint Rs 33.5 crores which took the overall numbers of the movie to Rs 106 crores.

Interestingly, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has managed to beat Kartik's 2022 release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 on the first Sunday. For the uninitiated, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 had minted Rs 23.51 crores on first Sunday (day 3) of its release.

Meanwhile, Anees Bazmee is overwhelmed with the audience's response to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and told ETimes, "It is the best birthday gift I could ever get. I am truly humbled by the audience's love".
