After all, his recent release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has been winning hearts since the first day. Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is the third installment of the franchise and features Kartik reprising his role of Rooh Baba from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The movie also stars Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, Vijay Raaz, Madhuri Dixit, Rajpal Yadav, Ashwini Kalsekar, Sanjay Mishra etc in the lead.

After a good start at the box office, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 saw a 46% drop in collections on day 4 (first Monday). According to a report published in Sacnilk, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 minted Rs 18 crores on day 4 followed by another drop in numbers of 27.78% on day 5 (first Tuesday). It is reported that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has minted Rs 13 crores on day 5 which took the total nett collections of the movie to Rs 137 crores.

Interestingly, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has been witnessing frequent comparisons with its prequel Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. And now, it is reported that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has managed to beat Kartik's 2022 release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 at the box office on the first Tuesday and that too with a good gap. For the uninitiated, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 had minted Rs 9.56 crores on day 5 (first Wednesday).

Meanwhile, Anees Bazmee is overwhelmed with the audience's response to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and told ETimes, "It is the best birthday gift I could ever get. I am truly humbled by the audience's love".
