Bibi Rajni Box Office Collection Day 4: Rupi’s Film Mints Almost Double Of Gandhi 3’s Numbers On 1st Monday

Bibi Rajni Box Office Collection Day 4: Rupi Gill starring Bibi Rajni has been the recent release in the Punjabi film industry and the religious film seems to be winning hearts. Directed by Amar Hundal, the movie also featured Yograj Gill, Jass Bajwa and Gurpreet Ghuggi in the lead, Bibi Rajni narrated the story of Bibi Rajni, the youngest daughter of Rai Duni Chand and was a devout Sikh during Guru Ram Das's era and her unwavering devotion and faith in God. Interestingly, Bibi Rajni witnessed a box office clash with Dev Kharoud's Gandhi 3: Yarran Da Yaar and it has been an intense fight.

While the Rupi Gill starrer witnessed a slow start at the box office with an opening day collection of Rs 25 lakhs, it saw a decent growth in collection during the opening weekend. In fact, Bibi Rajni raked in its highest single day collection on day 3 (first Sunday) wherein it minted Rs 1.49 crores. However, the first Monday came with a significant drop in number for this Aman Hundal directorial. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Bibi Rajni saw a drop of over 50% in numbers on day 4 (first Monday) and minted Rs 66 lakhs which took the overall collections of the film to Rs 2.96 crores
Bibi Rajni Beats Gandhi 3 With A Huge Gap
As Bibi Rajni has been witnessing a box office clash with Dev Kharoud's Gandhi 3 Yarran Da Yaar, it is giving the latter a tough fight. While Gandhi 3 was maintaining a lead initially, Bibi Rajni picked up pace during the weekend and continues to lead at the box office. It is reported that while Bibi Rajni minted Rs 66 lakhs on day 4 (first Monday), it is almost double the collections of Gandhi 3 which happened to be around Rs 38 lakhs. It will be interesting to see which film will touch Rs 5 crores mark ahead of the second weekend.
For the uninitiated, Gandhi 3 happens to be the third installment of the Rupinder Gandhi franchise. To note, Rupinder Gandhi was a national level football player turned gangster. While he was a gangster as per police records, many considered him as a youth icon and was also touted to have an image of Robinhood. He was shot dead in September 2003.
