Bohurupi (Bengali) Box Office Collection Day 21: Abir's Film Refuses To Slow Down; Crosses XX Cr In 3 Weeks

Bohurupi (Bengali) Box Office Collection Day 21: The Bengali film 'Bohurupi', starring Abir Chatterjee and Shiboprasad Mukherjee in the lead, continues its glorious theatrical run as it steps into its 4th week in cinemas today (October 29). Helmed by the popular director duo, Nandita Roy & Shiboprasad Mukherjee, Bohurupi had its grand theatrical relase during Durga Pujo on October 8, clashing with Dev-Srijit Mukherji's film 'Tekka'.

Inspired by true events, 'Bohurupi' also featured Ritabhari Chakraborty, Koushani Mukherjee, and Manasi Sinha among others. The action-drama tells the story of a clash between an honest cop (Abir) and an underdog (Shiboprasad).

Abir Chatterjee and Shiboprasad Mukherjee-starrer 'Bohurupi' - bankrolled by Windows Production - opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics alike. The small-budget Bangla movie not only set the Bengali box office on fire but also impressed the audience with its engaging narrative and power-packed performances.

As per Sacnilk, the movie opened to a box office collection of Rs 0.35 cr and witnessed noticeable growth due to the positive word-of-mouth. The film raked in around Rs 4.2 cr in week 1, followed by Rs 2.28 cr in 2nd week and Rs 2.29 cr in 3rd week. After a solid third weekend, Bohurupi saw a slight dip in numbers on 3rd Monday and managed to mint approx. Rs 21 lakhs, taking the total nett collection to Rs 9.28 cr in 21 days.

The gross collection of the film in India now stands at approx. Rs 10.81 cr in 2 weeks, according to the latest Sacnilk report.
