Chandu Champion Advance Booking Collection Day 1: Kartik Aaryan, who has often won hearts with his comic timings and lover boy image, is all set to surprise the audience with his upcoming release. We are talking about Chandu Champion which has been helmed by Kabir Khan and also features Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Aniruddh Dave, Vijay Raaz in the lead. To note, Chandu Champion happens to be a sport biopic based on India's first Paralympics gold medallist Murlikant Petkar.

From the teaser and trailer to Kartik's incredible transformation, everything about Chandu Champion has been making headlines making it one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Interestingly, Kartik will also be seen donning the uniform for the first time on screen and fans are quite excited to see him in a new avatar. As Chandu Champion marks Kartik's first collaboration with Kabir Khan, makers are leaving no stone unturned to make it a big hit.

Interestingly, the makers had begun the advance booking for Chandu Champion in a grand way at Dubai's Burj Khalifa and the movie has received a good response from the audience. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chandu Champion has managed to rake in Rs 77.98 lakhs from advance booking so far and is expected to cross Rs 80 lakhs marks.

Meanwhile, talking about Chandu Champion, Kartik told Variety, "A lot of prep was required for the skill sets, for the body transformation, one needs to have a lot of patience, and a lot of mental balance. I had never been in this situation - I was doing romantic films or comedy films. But this was the first time that I was doing something like this where I had to do a war sequence, I had to do wresting and whatnot. I was intrigued what Murlikant Petkar's thought process would be. And Kabir-sir used to always tell me that it's all about the willpower. And that's the one line of the film also - the man who refused to surrender basically, in any circumstances in any given situation, how no matter how hard or tough it is".
